MAFIOSO IN ITALY AREN'T LETTING THE VIRUS STOP THE WORKFLOW
Two recent wiretaps, coming directly out of Palermo, show the willingness the mafia has to handle things their "own way," despite any worries about the corona virus. One these wiretaps two mafioso are having quite the conversations on WHATSAPP. If you have the app, and are conducting yourself in a manner, trust me, the app isn't safe. If it's not encrypted forgetaboutit.
Mafioso A: "Don't you worry, cover up, if we have to respond(to the police) we will smash them to smithereens...they will beg for mercy."
Mafioso B: " Even if they send 10 fucking riot trucks, do you really think they could stop us? Aren't we all armed with batons and clubs?"
The same weekend these alleged tapes came out a supermarket was raided in Palermo and Naples by a large group. While the virus continu
es to ravage the north of Italy, the south is taking it to "the streets." The mob has been blamed for establishing fraudulent face masks, surgical masks, and mob crews are actively hijacking trucks.
The government in Italy has failed on a lot of levels to help the poorer communities, especially in Bari, but where the government can't help, the mob is stepping right up. The mafia is feeding the poor, they are helping in ways the government refuses to, and that's why your seeing a lot of these communities going right to Cosa Nostra for their needs. Making the situation worse is that of the 25 million workers in Italy 3.3 million are without money, food, work and basic necessities.
The one factor the Italian authorities are worried about is narcotics trafficking. Calabria(N'drangheta) alone pulls in an estimated $30 billion a year, and they fear that N'drangheta will begin to buy big companies, or begin loansharking to them once the pandemic ends. It's put the mafia in the position to make a ton of money and gain a foothold into quasi legitimate businesses.
So we asked, What are they doing during the pandemic? It's obvious now isn't it.
