DIFFERENT SHOW, SAME CAST OF SCUM!!
It looks as if MTV has once again hired the bottom of the barrel to make another mob show. It was announced the other day that Salvatore "Sammy The Bull Gravano," will join the cast of the new incarnation of "Made In Staten Island."
"Made In Staten Island," was a borderline hilarious reality show which revolved around "street kids." It was not received well, whatsoever, and those who live on Staten Island absolutely revolted at the idea of this show being made. Staten Island residents )which is where Sammy the bull actually got his real name because he was living on Bulls Head Staten Island), revolted and the show was cancelled and quick.
Why MTV has decided that a second incarnation of this is acceptable, is a headscratcher. The six part miniseries which is described as "the gripping realities of our four tied mafia families on State Island as they navigate a divide between parents attempting to guide their children to a better live, and their offspring who want to write their own stories. With one lifestyle and two generations, tensions run high as they decide whether to embrace their families legacy or break generational curses." LOL.
What I can tell you is this. Staten Island is a mob enclave. If you think any legitimate mobster will be on this show, or will allow his children to be is laughable. Not only will Staten Island not tolerate it, but the idea that you're going to be watching something real is almost as laughable. If you remember Anthony Graziano was shelved because his daughter Renee took part in Mob Wives. I cannot imagine for one second this show is anything other than bullshit and hype. It's a reality show, and meant to be dramatic, but if people are going to watch thinking that this is real, I also got a bridge to sell you in Brooklyn.
Karen Gravano has made a career off her fathers coattails. She has exploited murder, money and mayhem to establish her lifestyle. While many will say she has a right to do as she sees fit, the one thing I'm going to bring up is the murder of Alan Kaiser.
Alan Kasier was a 16 year old boy, who was killed at the hands of Sammy Gravano and Louie Milito. Alan wasn't a gangster, but rather an innocent young man, walking home on his birthday when he was coaxed to the car Gravano was in. As Alan got close, they shot gunned him. Alan had his whole life ahead of him. He did nothing wrong. He was minding his own business when Gravano and Milito snuffed him out. In what they have called "mistaken identity," Gravano has never ever paid for that crime. Never.
Salvatore has never apologized or spoken about that murder or the damage it did to the Kaiser family. Karen Gravano has never apologized for the crime either. Some may argue that Karen shouldn't have to apologize for her father's actions, but at the same time, when you offer no levity, you offer no condolence, and rather you exploit that murder and 19 others for you own financial gain, it makes the situation absolutely repugnant, and the Gravano's are repugnant. I'd give any amount of money to sit in front of them and ask them about that murder. I'd like to ask them how they would feel if someone just randomly killed a child in their family in a case of mistaken identity and see how they feel.
You can make your money, but when you exploit murder for money, you lose all credibility. In my book, "The Mic and The Mob Mouthpiece," I will be sitting down with Joi Faraci, who is the sister of Alan Kaiser. Nobody has ever taken the time to talk to Joi, asked her about Alan. While there has been some news articles about what happened, too many people don't know who Alan was, and not enough people know what the Kaiser family has gone through. Too many mob genre fans don't realize that an innocent child was taken for no other reason than Gravano hell bent on some half assed revenge and they preen over Gravano like some saint. Joi and I will set the record straight.
The bigger problem is with the F.B.I. They allowed Gravano to get away with it because what he had on John Gotti was more important than anything else. Anthony "Gaspipe" Casso also was someone who killed someone in a mistaken identity case. He was charged with that, so why wasn't Gravano? The problem is, the minute you have more info on a target they want, they are willing to bypass doing what's right for a family who lost someone who meant the world to them. Nobody will stand up, so I will. We aren't gonna let this go, nor should we, nor should you. Don't support the show or anything those two vile pigs have to say.
