DAVE RATTWEISER SPEAKS, AND IT"S PRETTY FUNNY

" We deal in facts. He deals in bullshit." Dave Schratweiser.    This is his opinion, on yours truly.  While I have pretty much been assailing the two gremlins for months, and while I laugh at the comment in and of itself, I personally feel like I should address it.

What I will say is this.  George Anastasia, is a well noted author, historian, and mob expert.  I've never said otherwise.  Dave Schratweiser is an Emmy award winning journalist, who had a long and pretigious career.   Those are facts.   Where the line gets drawn for me, is their behavior.  It's one thing as a journalist to cover a story.  Your job is to dig dirt, get factual information and relay it to the public in a manner to which they can form their own opinion.   The problem is, both stretch facts, they stretch the truth, with little to no factual basis for what they put out.

What they don't like, is me telling the truth at a loud volume and in bold colors.  The truth is, George Anastasia has written several books, based on the mafia, which are based on informants telling him a story.  He glowing talks about Ron Previte and John Veasey, and recently wrote another book with a disgraced, not factual informant whom shall remain nameless.  In that book, it was lie after lie after lie.  While I can agree informants lie, and spin stories, as an author your job is to investigate and corroborate facts.  Anastasia's claims that he back checked, fact checked, are complete lies.  If he had, he would have found what a thousand other people easily found.  Lie after lie after lie.  If it's as simple as others have found it, the question remains, why didn't he?  We will never know.  If we know that book is a fabrication, and he consistently gives weight to informants, they we have to sort of question everything else he has done.

With Dave Schratweiser, I just don't like his methods. To essentially say you saw "Joe Ligambi sunning himself on his back deck," is borderline weird.  I question why anyone would say that publicly,and I also question why he's so self absorbed and obsessed with people minding their own business in their own yard.  His words, not mine.   It's also worth mentioning his tactics.  He essentially
hides and or ambushes people.  Maybe ambush is a little too severe, but over the years he has posted videos of himself sitting in the Fox 29 van, video taping guys coming and going from alleged social clubs, to businesses.  Then there he was banging on Joey Merlino's door down in Florida.  Who does that?  If they have the sources they claim, then picking up a phone might suffice, instead of creep walking to someone's door you don't know, for whatever reason.

So as to his statement about them putting out facts and I put out bullshit.  The truth is, I don't put out bullshit and they know it.   Dave should admit he tried following me on instagram two weeks ago.  I blocked him out of necessity.  If he refutes that I can gladly provide screenshots.   I said they would cover Marty Angelina, and they did.  How did I know that?  Am I psychic or are they just easily marked? 

What they typically do, is cover an angle.  The problem is, at least factually, is they are going off of gossip and or supplanted information from the Federal Government.  How did they know Philip Narducci was going to take a pinch before anyone else?  How was Dave Schratweiser able to sit outside Phil's house to get a shot of him while handcuffed in the back of an suv?  Did their source tip them off?  Nope.  Someone within the FBI told them.  We can argue the morality of sitting outside someones home to take photos and videos of them getting pinched all day.  It's slimey as fuck.  That's exactly what it is.

To further that point, they have released video after video of guys, naming them, their rank, and prior suggestions of murder and mayhem.  They essentially report gossip, put certain guys into the mix of a bowl of gossip and bullshit, and think that's okay.  It's not.    If someone is under indictment, I get it, you read the indictment and the allegeations, but that's not what they do.  They bring up 30 year old murders and consistently attempt to tongue in cheek who they think was involved.  They have made assertions about Anthony Nicodemo, saying he was moved from a prison closer to Philadelphia, and do it in a way that makes the viewer think possibly Nicodemo was going to talk.  It's irresponsible and sickening on every level.  They essentially are putting guys lives in danger, putting them on the radar as far as the feds go, and they don't understand why I have an issue with that?  You can report information without naming names, ranks, and priors. 

Anthony Persiano, I talked about him before anybody did.  I even reported about his fraud bullshit and scamming good people like Rema Navone, months ago.  I outed Persiano before they knew that Persiano was.   So I report bullshit?    The fact is, I don't report gossip.  I report facts.  If they don't like it they are defintely entitled to that, but the one thing you cannot accuse me off is reporting lies.  There is a reason why I get Philadelphia right and they are half assing it.   I often wonder why Schratweiser attempted to follow me.  I even asked a few people in Philadelphia, and they all said the same thing, "they don't know anything and are trying to take information from you."  That's exactly what it was.  They haven't reported on Persiano at all until this week, and the information they provided, was loose.  It's almost like they took some parts of my Persiano article, rearranged them, but didn't include actual details.  I'm not accusing them of cherry picking, I'm just saying I find it weird that they never really discussed the stuff Persiano was doing while on the FBI's watch until yesterday, some four to five months after I broke that story.

The case in point here is, I don't like either one of them.  They are vile.  They don't tell the complete truth.  I broke the Narducci case wide open, gave everyone the true facts.  They're response was to refuse to name the "informant." Which I think is hilarious because they seem to protect the rats, and throw Philly names out there without hesitation.   It's a joke.   The safest thing is to play the middle fellas.

Now, what I do, sure people don't like me, I'm well aware of that.  However, the one thing I can say is I cover the truth, granted it's from an innocent until proven guilty angle, but isn't that how things are done?  For some reason the way they handle things is to always say "street guys told us this."  Does anyone believe that?  While I'm sure people do talk to them on some level, I will tell you this.   Whomever talks to them does so to make them get the story right, and tell them where they are stretching the facts.  Is that smart?  No.    If that were me, I wouldn't utter a word to correct anything they say.   However, I can also say that about myself to, to be fair about it.  Should anybody talk to me? Probably not, but the difference is, I don't say "this street guy told me this and that."  Wherever I get any info, doesn't matter.  I double and triple check.  These guys believe saying "a street guy this and that," gives them plausible reality.  It doesn't.  It makes them laughable.

The situation with Marty Angelina is a fucking joke.  It's old news, old drama, yet if you listen to the two morons, they try and make it like they solved the Lindenberg baby kidnapping.  People get subpeonas to answer questions, they don't subpeona people who are getting arrested.  It doesn't happen that way, but people don't know that.  Instead you're fed a headline, fed a name, and they want you to believe fire and brimstone is coming, when in fact, it's utter nonsense and gossip.   I don't know Marty Angelina.  I have never spoken to Marty, never been in the same room or ten mile radius of him, but I know from others, that any assertion being made by those two, is a joke.  They have a pinnocchio factor without the visible nose growth.     They simply heard about a subpeona and want to make it like a Geraldo Rivera show.

People are entitled to believe whatever is spoon fed to them.  I have no problem with anyone who finds what they do entertaining and informative.  At some point they both were credible.  The thing is, they are like the  National Enquirer of the mob.  

While they do report good stuff when trials are going on and indictments are handed down, it's how they go about the business of it, and how they make loose assertions and innuendo that infuriates me.  I'm protective of people, and some stories I have heard about them and the stuff they have done to people pails in comparison to my little diatribe here.  Countless people have told me about some of the stuff Dave has done, and I won't repeat it here, because I'm not going to start a war, or embarrass him any further.  This is not about competition, it's about holding someone accountable whose reckless at best and doesn't take into consideration family members and children.  Sure, he might bemoan it and go "well we don't wanna mention this mob capo's wife's name," but you have to wonder why.  They have no problem dropping names, but they draw the line whenever they want. 

I'm done talking about these two. I made my point the last several months.  You are free to watch and enjoy what they do, but if there was a simple disclaimer inserted, it would be, don't take my word for it, watch for yourself.  See how they behave, see the stuff they do.  If that's quality journalism, then we are all fucked.
